a very gentle and superficial peel that prepares the skin for stronger peels if no skin conditioning was performed with the activators. Based on poly hydroxyl acids, it is an ideal peel to test the skin before using stronger peels or for the first sessions on very thin and reactive skins.
INDICATIONS:
Skin conditioning prior to stronger peels. Great for thin, reactive and sensitive skins. Formulated to restore the natural skin pH gradient. Activate exfoliating enzymes to renew the skin gradually. Increase overall skin radiance. Restores high skin moisture. Improves the skin radiance. Acne (comedones, blackheads, whiteheads, acne, post-acne). Hyperkeratosis (rough and thickened horny layer of skin). Seborrhea (excessive oil secretion caused by a violation of the sebaceous glands). Hypersensitive allergy-prone skin. Enlarged pores. Loose, sagging skin. Photo-aging (skin aging caused by excessive UV-radiation).
HOW TO USE:
Thoroughly cleanse, then degrease skin while protecting sensitive areas. Next, apply peel using gauze, beginning with the resistant areas on the face then moving toward the most sensitive areas (forehead, cheeks, chin, submaxillary region, upper lip, and nose). Allow to act for 6 to 10 minutes or until reaching the desired point, mild redness with no flaking. After this time, and to prevent the peel from continuing its actions and penetrating the skin, neutralize it with the carboxy neutralizer and wash the area of application with abundant cold water. Or follow by applying successive coat of a stronger peel if the peel is used as a pre-peel. After applying the peel, areas that are warm to the touch or erythema's may appear. Should this occur, further neutralization is needed. If the peel has been applied to more than three areas simultaneously, we recommend neutralizing them all. Upon the application of the peel, a stinging sensation may be experienced by the patient, which will disappear in few minutes. Complete the treatment by applying a repair cream. Avoid sun exposure for the next 12 hours after the peel. The next day's apply the all-day shield during the day and the repair cream at night.
